Textile Prints Reimagined 

Mediums: Gouache, Marker

 

For this project, I analyzed and reinterpreted three existing textile prints. The task was to create my own illustrations inspired by a fruit, a flower, and a chicken—using personal reference photos from my camera roll as the base.

 

I explored how to translate photographic inspiration into stylized textile motifs, studying the structure, pattern repetition, and artistic style of classic printed textiles.

 

This project pushed me out of my comfort zone by introducing me to new mediums like gouache and marker, which helped loosen up my process and approach design more intuitively.
