Our first Fashion Illustration project challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone by exploring the same figure through five different mediums: graphite, colored pencil, marker, watercolor, and mixed media. Through this process, I strengthened my speed, proportion, and rendering skills while learning how each medium creates a different mood, texture, and sense of movement. This project taught me the value of experimentation, embracing imperfection, and using each piece as an opportunity to grow as an illustrator.
